Source hierarchy

Company records begin with sources that are authoritative for the claim being tested: official company pages for public statements, government registries for legal identity, issuer databases for certificates, institutions for program participation and credible trade sources for corroboration. A primary source is not automatically independent.

Evidence labels

Verified facts, company statements and historical claims are different things. Each profile retains the original evidence state. A factory’s own website can verify that the company made a statement; it does not make the statement independently verified.

Publication threshold

A profile must identify the organization, establish its connection to Georgia, document at least one product or operating capability, cite public sources and list material unknowns. Records that cannot meet this threshold remain unpublished.

MOQ, capacity, lead time, certification scope and export markets are never inferred. When current evidence is unavailable, the field is marked unverified.

Publisher and commercial independence

Caucasus Supply Chain is published by Kazbegi Inc., a sourcing advisory practice founded by Geoff Boone. Paid research is contracted and delivered through Kazbegi Inc.; the public directory is governed by a separate editorial rule.

Companies cannot pay for inclusion, ranking, a stronger evidence label, removal of a documented gap or a favorable conclusion. Paid buyer work does not change a public profile. If a commercial relationship could reasonably affect a reader’s interpretation, it will be disclosed.

Corrections and company input

Companies may request corrections or supply current documentation. Inclusion and corrections are free. Submissions are evaluated against the same evidence standard and do not guarantee a change. Material updates are reflected in the profile’s visible review date.
